Orbis made a CSR donation to
Flood Relief in the Villages of Uttarakhand
On July 2024, a devastating cloudburst struck the villages of Tingargh and Toli in the Ghansali district. The intense rainfall and floods destroyed homes, forcing villagers to seek refuge in a government school, the classrooms were turned into a makeshift homes.

Recognizing the urgent need for support, Orbis collaborated with Ramakrishna Mission, and contributed to the flood relief efforts through its CSR initiative. The relief efforts were met with deep gratitude from the local community. The school principal, village Pradhan, and Village Tehsildar expressed their sincere thanks to Orbis Financial Corporation for their timely and generous contribution.
Impact:
Distribution of tarpaulins sheltered 300 families from rain and cold. 345 solar lamps restored lighting in homes without electricity, improving safety. 100 pressure cookers and 100 gas stoves enabled families to cook efficiently, ensuring hot meals despite damaged kitchens. These essentials provided immediate relief, safety, and dignity to flood-affected households
